Aboriginal Poppy Pins Sold Out Online!

Maamawi Collective would like to thank everyone for their interest and support of the Royal Canadian Legion Aboriginal Poppy Pin. This is gratefying recognition of the TRC call to action (No. 53 section 4), which calls for communities, individuals and groups to acknowledge our First Nations, M├ętis and Inuit communities.

We are pleased to announce that we have raised over $700.00 to date, that will be donated directly to the local Uxbridge Legion Branch 170.

Due to the unexpected volume of requests for the pin, our online stock has sold out and our next shipment is already spoken for. We would not be able to guarantee that a third shipment would arrive at our location, in time for orders to be mailed and delivered before Nov. 11.

There are a small number of pins allocated for local pickup at the Blue Heron Book Store and Pharmasave Pharmacy in Uxbridge. (We expect delivery from the Royal Canadian Legion wharehouse by Friday afternoon, Nov 1/19)

You can order the pin yourself.

You can order from the Royal Canadian Poppy Store with this link.
